By default, the standard donation form you can create in the merchant dashboard only contains the email address and donation amount fields. If you would like to add additional fields to the form, you must do so through the dashboard and regenerate the HTML form code.

The additional required fields you can add to the donation form are:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Employer
  • Job title
  • City of employment

As well as parameters that modify how the form functions, like:

  • Max donation enforcement
  • Max donation amount
  • Currency type

Adding extra fields

  1. Log into your merchant account dashboard at choose the and click on Payment Tools to expand that drop-down menu. Then click on Accept Donations.
  2. Click the small Show/Hide button next to Advanced Options.
  3. You should now see a list of additional fields you can use on your form. Check the box next to the donor fields you wish to require.
  4. Click the blue Generate! button at the bottom of the page to get the new HTML form code. Copy & paste that code into your website, same as before.
